This image is pasted on a beautiful cabinet card which is ornately embossed around the edges. It is marked with the name of Dickinson studio, Hamilton, Ohio, which is today a northern suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. This wonderful vignetted image is a nice example of the androgyny of prepubescence, albeit adorned with the trappings of feminine gender identity.
